"The forgotten Christmas song"

So why is it that all the radio stations play the same songs over and over again. All with different artist to make you wanna puke. But they forget one that I think deserves to be in the list of forgotten songs this time of year. I did catch a version of it on the Circuit City commercial Message From America.

Way way back in 1971 Joni Mitchell released "River" The Circuit City commercial song is sung by non other than Robert Downey Jr. when he sang it on Ally McBeal. You can download the Joni Mitchell version here for a short time. It's about 3 megs so give it awhile if ya on 56k. And enjoy!
