"Points of Refrence"

Thumbing through our local paper I see my old middle school (junior high) is probably gonna be closed due to old age. Which istantly brought back a flood of memories from there. One thing I think I'll remember most is Mr. McEwin (science teacher) and his crazy points of refrence. According to him life begins and ends when Judys daddy died. I'm assuming Judy is his wife and something must have really happened when her dad died.

So for example if you would have asked about Elvis I can just imagine what he would have said. "Lets see Elvis died in 78 so that was two years before Judy's daddy died." "We had our first kid about two years after Judy's daddy died" I would always laugh when he would use that line.

On a sad note just found out that Mr. Sakamoto that taught there died this week. This post is dedicated to you Mr. Sakamoto.

"All these choices!"

They sucked me in and when I got there it was more than I bargined for. I'm watching one of them timelife commercials so I decide I'll go check out their website. Once I got there it was like a kid in a candy store. SO many things I want and not enough money to get em all! Through some kind of miracle I narrowed it down to three titles.

1. Fat Albert
2. Beavis and Butthead
3. The Muppet Show

Some things I know to help you make your decision...
1. Ask your friends. Which can at some times make it even more harder and more of a mess than you asked for.
2. Figure out which lines you would have most fun immatating at work the next day. "Hey baby, wanna wrestle?" -Buthead
3. And if all else fails go with your gut.
